On Wednesday, a local source in Nineveh province revealed, that ISIS militants have blown up the historical shrine of Sheikh al-Kharazy in north of the province.
The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, informed IraqiNews.com,
“This evening, ISIS blew up the shrine of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Said al-Kharazy located in north of the province,” noting that,
“The militants used a number of explosive materials including TNT to blow up the shrine.”
“Two guards of the shrine were detained after scuffling with ISIS elements,” the source added.
